What's New?

Tired of continually re-jetting your carbs on your two-stroke?

Air Cushion Sports in coordination with Hovertechnics, Inc. is proud to introduce a technology to the sport of hovercraft that will take the frustration and concern out of properly jetting carburetors on two-stroke engines.  Carburetors perform the basic function of delivering fuel to the engine, but without a computer to regulate the fuel air mixture, a manual adjustment to the jetting of the carburetor is necessary.  In the past, each time the outdoor temperatures changed, the humidity levels changed or there is a change in altitude, it would require the operator to manually change the jetting in the engine's carburetor(s).  If the operator wasn't careful about monitoring these changes in weather, it would only be a matter of time before the engine would either run too rich or too lean.  If it ran too lean, engine damage was the result; very expensive and very frustrating.

Now all of that frustration and concern is practically a thing of the past.  All Hovertechnics, Inc. hovercraft that sport the Rotax 503, 447 and 593 engines offer the carb compensating option.  The compensator requires no batteries or power of any kind.  No computer is necessary as the compensator takes care of everything needed to keep the engine running at peak performance and optimum operating temperature at almost any outdoor temperature or humidity level.

That's not the only good news, we can retrofit any Rotax 503, 447 or 593 using Mikuni or Bing carbs.  If you have an older Hovertechnic's machine, you too can start experiencing the convenience that this device offers.
